Pigs in Snow

This is our first venture into pig keeping and so we decided to get our pigs in April when the weather would be warmer and the daily chores might be less arduous. Also we felt that warmer weather would be better for the pigs, since they had lived inside before coming to us.

However the first few weeks were very cold – we even had snow! But the pigs didn’t seem to mind. Ingeniously they made their straw inside the arc into a ball and slept inside it.
